Once upon a time, Jesus and his disciples went to a mountain to pray. While they were there, a big crowd of people came to see Jesus. The people had been following Jesus for a long time and they were hungry. They asked Jesus to feed them.

Jesus told his disciples to give the people something to eat. But the disciples only had five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus took the bread and fish, blessed it, and then gave it to the disciples to give to the crowd. The disciples kept giving the food to the people, and the food never ran out. Everyone had enough to eat!

The people were amazed at what Jesus had done. They thought that he was a prophet and that he had done a miracle by feeding the five thousand with just five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus told them that he wasn’t a prophet but that he was the bread of life. He said that if they ate his flesh and drank his blood, they would never be hungry again.

The people were confused by what Jesus had said and some of them left. But Jesus’ disciples believed in him and followed him wherever he went. They saw many more miracles and learned about God’s love for them.
